As founder and chief executive officer of TMN, Nhora is responsible for delineating and implementing the company's overall vision and growth strategy. She oversees company operations, finances, and strategic growth to ensure that these are in line with the mission and values TMN strives to uphold. Her international background and experience give her a truly insightful perspective into the unique problems surrounding health and social disparities in the U.S. and abroad. It is solving these problems that drive her passion at TMN.
Nhora has been widely recognized for her work as founder and president of TMN. She has been named to the list of Top 100 Hispanic Entrepreneurs by both Hispanic Magazine and Hispanic Business, and has been featured in the Washington Business Journal. She was also named to the 2008 list of Top 100 Women of Maryland by The Daily Record. Additionally, she has received awards for excellence from the National Association of Government Communicators and the Health Improvement Institute. In 2007, Governor Martin O’Malley appointed her to the Maryland Higher Education Commission. She is also a member of The Aspen Institute. Her experience in community outreach, coalition-building, and culturally-sensitive social marketing spans two decades.
